Do you need to book a service call?
Our technicians have fully equipped service vehicles* to undertake service and repairs to all makes and models of air conditioners. Generally the technicians can diagnose the problem within the first hour. If it is something simple that can be repaired with the parts in his vehicle, he can carry out the repairs at the time of service.
*Please note we do not carry all parts for all units. If a specific part is required at time of service it will need to be ordered from the relevant supplier.
What is a service call?
A service call is when an air conditioner is not working properly. It is either not heating or cooling as it should be, or there are issues with air flow or general operation.
What does the service call fee include?
The service call fee includes the call out fee and the first hour on site. Generally the technician can diagnose the problem within the first hour. If it is something simple that can be repaired with parts carried in his vehicle, he can carry out the repairs at the time. All parts are charged additional.
How long will it take?
The amount of time required depends on the fault. Once the technician has diagnosed the fault he will advise what is faulty and what is required to complete the repair including approximate labour time and parts. If he has the parts in his vehicle he can complete the works on approval, however if parts are required from a supplier, a quote including parts and labour will be provided.
Can all units be repaired?
This depends on the age and brand of the unit, and the cost and availability of parts. We will endeavour to repair all units to the best of our ability, sometimes this is the best outcome for the client, however there are also times where the cost analysis of repairing the unit is not favourable to the client. If the cost to repair outweighs the cost to replace, or the parts are no longer available for repair we will provide a quotation for the replacement of the unit.
