Preventative maintenance for your air conditioner
Air conditioners require regular servicing to ensure they are functioning correctly and are a condition of warranty when purchased new. For domestic use, we recommend a maintenance service be carried out twice yearly at the change over from heat to cool and vice versa.
Maintenance Package Inclusions
- Verify cooling performance temperature drop and determine if adjustments are necessary.
- Check outdoor condenser coil and remove debris from unit.
- Check amperage of compressor for proper operation.
- Test operation and condition of compressor contactor if applicable.
- Inspect and tighten electrical connections Inspect start/run capacitors and relays.
- Inspect for refrigerant leaks Inspect indoor evaporator coil, if accessible.
- Inspect blower assembly operation, lubricate and adjust as necessary.
- Evaluate condition of air filters.
- Inspect condenser fan motor operation.
- Evaluate overall efficiency of system and inform customer of equipment condition.
- Check indoor coil condition.
